I have updated my I-tunes to the latest version (which was told to me by an apple rep). Now my text messages are filling in the +1 to all my contacts and I'm having trouble sending text and texts with pics. WebFeb 8, 2024 · Dial Assist is only for GSM phones. The issue is only experienced in certain models and carriers. I believe Apple is aware of the issue, but the fix will probably come in the form of a modem firmware update from the carrier. It could be related to 5G, as Qualcomm has struggled getting dual Sim to work on both SIM cards.
