WebLadysmith Fire/Rescue is a volunteer fire department that provides fire protection to the Town of Ladysmith, parts of Saltair and the Diamond Improvement District. The fire protection area spans over 40 square miles. Ladysmith Fire Rescue is located at 340 6th Avenue and may be reached at 250.245.6436 (non-emergency). WebThe population of the fire protection area is about 20,000, increasing substantially in the summer months. We respond to about 600 calls annually: structure fires, rescues, motor vehicle incidents, medical assistance, and public service requests.
