If I set Printing Temperature to 270C, it prints at 270C throughout the print. I've also tried setting Initial Printing Temperature to 270C at the same time also and that doesn't work either. So if you set first layer temp to 205, and print temp to 200, you'll first find a M109 S205 and further on a M104 S200. Cura looks at your nozzle size, shell width and comes up with a "line width" internally. For example if nozzle is .4 and shell is .8 then it will pick .4 for line width.
