Can I tell you how in love I am with this recipe?

One night last week, my husband and I were watching movies in bed (a favorite thing to do in the Bravo household), and we really need a sweet treat but the fridge and cupboards were barren of all delight.  I'm sure you guys have been there.  I had random opened chocolate chips, some left over marshmallows from my holiday gift giving extravaganza and some honeyed graham crackers.  BEST RECIPE IN THE WORLD I TELL YOU..... keep reading.....It took less than 10 minutes to prepare, probably more like 5, because I cook professionally, so I happen to be kind of quick in the kitchen.  It baked for 10 minutes, and that was it.  It was SO EASY and required virtually no effort on my part.  This s'more isn't a traditional s'more like you'd expect at a campfire sing- a-long.  It's an ooey, gooey, chocolaty, buttery bliss, with caramelized burnt marshmallow sugar on top.  You can serve them hot, in a bowl with a spoon and cold glass of milk or let them cool and cut them into squares to dip in your milk like an Oreo.  Either way, you can't go wrong.  I will tell you though, I tried them both ways- and I think they're less rich less overtly filling when you let them cool.  I actually preferred them cooled, but like I always say, to each his own- I say eat it however you'd like, if the spirit moves you.


1 stick of melted butter

1/4 c. white sugar

1 package graham crackers

1/2 bag marshmallows, jumbo

2 c. chocolate chips

9x13 baking dish

cooking spray

Directions to heaven

Pre-heat the oven to 375.

Put graham crackers into a blender or food processor and grind until smooth and powdery.  Melt butter in a microwave or on a stove top.  Measure out 1/4 c. of sugar.  Add the sugar to the blender or food processor and turn the blender on low so that the sugar mixes with the graham crackers.  Slowly drizzle in the butter until it is all incorporated.

Take your 9x13 baking dish and spray it with non stick spray.  Pat the graham crackers into the bottom of the pan, making a pseudo crust.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the graham cracker crust and then layer with the marshmallows.

Bake for 10 minutes, until the marshmallows are toasty golden brown on top and the chocolate chips have melted.

Let them cool slightly and cut into squares..... or serve hot and gooey, digging in with a spoon.
