Harvesting your own food

There is something to be said for going and foraging for your own food, or more simply, picking your food food fresh. If you have the space, I highly recommend starting a garden. Even if it's just a small raised bed in the middle of an urban city. It's a start. It's so satisfying. It's yours, you grow it, you water it, you eat it, you know what's in it. I'm going to inspire you, by showing you how a small garden in your yard, can turn into a feast fit for a king. It'll bring your community together (if all of you share in the same vision) and it'll force you to learn to eat seasonally, make thousands of recipes with one basic ingredient and trade with your neighbors. It starts with a goal. The goal is to eat better, live simpler and get back to our roots, doing things the old fashioned way. Grow your first garden, take care of it, and watch it give back, 10 fold. Share it with your friends, your family, your neighbors- I guarantee it'll produce more than you can consume. Share it. And it'll come back to you. It comes full circle.
