Oh you wonderful peeps, it's that time again.... spring is in the air, stone fruit is not quite in season, but will be in no time. I'm inspired by the weather and want to share my craving with you (oh, the joys of being preggers). I love to make this recipe for dinner parties. The flavors are so pronounced it feels like your indulging in decadence- however it's surprisingly healthy, very simple to make and fast- which is always my favorite when entertaining. If you don't have molasses, or like molasses, feel free to use a really floral honey or even maple syrup. I hope you like it 🙂 And of course, I'm sure you already know- the less ingredients something has- the better it is for you.
Vegetable oil, for brushing
8 peaches, halved and pitted
8 ounces creme fraiche
1/4 cup molasses
Brush peaches with oil and place on the grill, cut-side down. Grill until golden brown, about 1 1/2 minutes. Turn the peaches over and grill another 45 seconds. Remove the peaches to a plate and place a tablespoon of creme fraiche in the indentation of each peach. Drizzle with the molasses.
